Best Canny alternatives in 2026
Checked from each tool’s public pricing and help pages. We make Sikia, and it’s listed first; the rest are in no particular order.
Canny covers a lot: feedback boards, voting, a public roadmap, a changelog and Autopilot AI on every plan, plus a free plan for up to 25 tracked users. The most common reason teams look elsewhere is how the price grows. Canny Pro is priced by tracked users, meaning anyone with a post, vote or comment attributed to them. It runs from $79/mo billed yearly at 100 tracked users to $1,079/mo billed yearly at 5,000, and accounts move to the next increment automatically unless a spend limit is set.
Other reasons depend on the team. Removing 'Powered by Canny' and team SSO both need the sales-led Business plan. Canny's Discord integration sends notifications only, so communities that live on Discord can't turn messages into feedback there, and Slack capture works one message at a time through a bot, message action or shortcut. On the other hand, Canny's Jira, Linear and helpdesk integrations are broad, so check that any alternative covers the ones you use.
What to compare
How the price grows
Check what the bill depends on: tracked users (Canny), seats or makers (Featurebase, Productboard), boards (Nolt), plan limits such as projects, ideas or AI volume (Upvoty, Frill, Sikia), features alone (UserJot), or a quote (UserVoice). Price it at the user and team size you expect next year, not today.
Where your feedback arrives
If users talk to you in Slack or Discord, check whether a tool captures messages automatically, lets someone send them over one at a time, or only posts notifications. If feedback comes through Intercom or Zendesk, check those integrations instead.
Branding, domain and SSO
Some tools include branding removal and a custom domain on the entry plan; others sell them as add-ons or keep them for a top plan. Most tools here reserve SAML SSO for their top plan, though Frill's help center lists team SSO on all paid plans.
Closing the loop
Check what happens when you ship: whether the people who asked are notified, by email or in the thread where they asked. A changelog that reaches voters saves you writing individual replies.
What a migration keeps
Check whether an import keeps individual voters, comments, statuses and changelog entries, or only vote totals. Canny's API is available on every plan, including Free, so API-based importers can reach your data whichever Canny plan you're on.

The alternatives
1.Sikia
Best for teams whose users talk in Slack or Discord · Free plan; paid from $19/mo
Sikia listens in the Slack and Discord channels you pick, sorts messages into requests, bugs, questions and chatter, and suggests merging duplicates as votes with the user's quote attached. There's a Free plan for one project, and paid plans are flat ($19, $29 or $49 a month, or $99 once). Every plan has unlimited teammates and the MCP server, and paid plans remove the badge. It imports from Canny with an API key, keeping voters, comments, statuses and changelog entries.
Watch out for: No team SSO, and no Jira, Intercom or Zendesk integration (support tickets can be forwarded by email from Growth). The Free plan shows the Sikia badge, and imports need Growth or above.
2.Featurebase
Best for a helpdesk and feedback in one tool · Free plan (1 seat); paid from $29/seat/mo billed yearly
Featurebase bundles a helpdesk, the Fibi AI agent and a help center with feedback boards, roadmaps and a changelog. End users are unlimited on every plan, and Discord users can submit feedback with a /feedback command.
Watch out for: Priced per seat, with usage meters on top, such as $0.49 per Fibi AI resolution, and removing branding is a $69/month add-on. Its CSV-based Canny migration keeps vote totals but not individual voters or comments.

Best for two boards on a free plan · Free plan; paid from $29/mo
UserJot's free plan includes unlimited posts and end users, a roadmap, a changelog and the widget, and its paid plans are flat. It has a dedicated Canny importer that keeps votes, comments and changelog entries, and an 80-tool MCP server from Starter.
Watch out for: No Jira, Linear, Intercom or Zendesk integration, Discord is documented as notifications, and branding removal and SSO need the $59/mo Professional plan.

Best for the lowest entry price with no branding · $15/mo
Upvoty Power is $15/mo with unlimited boards and tracked users, a custom domain, user SSO, API access and no Upvoty branding. Merge AI handles duplicates, and Jira and Linear sync status back to the portal.
Watch out for: The pricing page lists the changelog from Super ($25/mo) and MCP on Hyper ($49/mo), while feature pages say every plan, so confirm during the trial. Slack sends alerts rather than capturing messages.

Best for simple boards with enterprise identity options · $29/mo billed yearly
Nolt includes unlimited users and admins on every plan, thorough moderation and AI-drafted changelog entries. Enterprise adds SAML, OpenID Connect and SCIM, and it has a remote MCP server.
Watch out for: Priced per board, so more than one board needs Pro ($69/mo billed yearly). Its Slack and Discord integrations send alerts only, and hiding branding is Enterprise-only.

Best for ideas, announcements and surveys in one widget · $25/mo
Frill combines an ideas board, a roadmap, announcements and NPS or CSAT surveys in embeddable widgets, with unlimited admins and tracked users. It has one-click importers from Canny, Aha, Upvoty and Fider that keep votes and statuses.
Watch out for: The $25/mo Startup plan caps active ideas at 50, removing branding costs $100/mo extra below the $149/mo Growth plan, and Discord isn't supported.

Best for product teams that need planning, not only a board · Free plan; paid per maker, from $19/mo billed yearly
Productboard adds prioritization, roadmaps and a product hierarchy on top of feedback from many sources, with Jira two-way sync and the Spark AI agent. It has a free plan, and its help center publishes per-maker prices.
Watch out for: No dedicated changelog, portal voting is an importance rating, AI is metered in credits, and its main pricing page currently shows no prices.
Sikia vs Productboard, in detail8.UserVoice
Best for large B2B teams tying feedback to revenue · Custom quote
UserVoice connects feedback to account and revenue data through Salesforce, Gainsight and Zendesk, and offers SAML, OIDC and JWT SSO with SCIM. A Technical Success team helps with onboarding and migration.
Watch out for: No published prices, a demo comes before the trial, and UserVoice says most teams take 4 to 6 weeks to launch. AI features are a paid add-on.
