Terms of Service
Effective October 18, 2026
1. Who we are
Sikia is operated by Vivtech Solutions, a sole proprietorship registered in India, based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using sikia.dev you agree to these terms. If you use Sikia for a company, you confirm you can accept them on its behalf, and “you” means that company.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a magic link sent to your email or with Discord. Keep access to that email or Discord account secure; anyone who can use it can use your Sikia account.
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
- Teammates you invite get access to the projects you invite them to. You are responsible for what they do there.
3. Plans, trial and billing
- Sikia Cloud has a Free plan, monthly or yearly subscriptions (Starter $19, Growth $29 and Scale $49 per month, or yearly at 8 times the monthly price), and a one-time Lifetime plan ($99). Current prices and limits are on our pricing page.
- The Free plan costs nothing and needs no card. It has lower limits than the paid plans, and boards on it always show a “Powered by Sikia” badge.
- Lifetime is a single payment for access to Sikia Cloud for as long as we operate it, with the limits shown on the pricing page and future updates included. It doesn’t include Sikia’s hosted AI: you connect your own AI provider key, and that provider bills you for its use. Features marked “Soon” on the pricing page are planned, not promised by a date.
- Each account can start one 7-day free trial of a monthly or yearly plan. A payment card is required to start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged for the plan you picked and the subscription renews automatically each month or year until you cancel.
- Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. It charges your card, issues invoices and collects any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies. Its own terms also apply to the payment.
- Upgrades take effect straight away and are charged pro rata for the rest of the billing period. Downgrades take effect when you make them, except moving to the Free plan, which cancels your subscription at the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. The new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel any time from Billing › Manage billing. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and then your account moves to the Free plan. Your oldest project keeps working within the Free limits. Any others pause: capture stops, their public boards show a notice, and their data is kept so you can upgrade again. The same happens if a payment fails and isn’t fixed by the end of the paid period, or if Lifetime is refunded. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
5. Usage limits
Each plan includes a number of projects, Discord servers and Slack workspaces, and a monthly allowance of AI-captured requests and messages analyzed by AI. Teammates are unlimited. When you reach an AI allowance, Sikia keeps capturing feedback with simpler rule-based sorting until the next month. Lifetime has no hosted AI allowance: it uses your own AI provider key, billed to you by that provider. We may also apply reasonable rate limits to protect the service. We’ll contact you before taking action if your use is far above what your plan is designed for.
6. Your content and your users' data
- You own your content: projects, requests, votes, comments, changelog entries, and the feedback Sikia captures for you from Slack, Discord, the widget, GitHub and other sources.
- You give us permission to host, copy, process and display that content only as needed to run Sikia for you, including sending it to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
- For personal data about your own users (for example names, emails and Slack or Discord messages captured into your inbox), you are the controller and we process it on your behalf, following your instructions and our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and for telling your users how their feedback is used. A data processing agreement is available on request at privacy@sikia.dev.
- Connecting a Slack workspace, Discord server or GitHub repository is also subject to Slack’s, Discord’s and GitHub’s terms. Only connect workspaces, channels and repositories you are allowed to.
7. AI features
Sikia uses AI models to sort messages, spot duplicates, translate, answer roadmap questions, ask follow-up questions and draft changelogs and specs. AI output can be wrong. Captured messages stay in your private inbox until you approve them, and you are responsible for what you publish or let the bot reply. If you add your own AI provider key, your use of that provider is also governed by its terms and billed by it.
8. Acceptable use
Don’t use Sikia to:
- break the law or anyone’s rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
- send spam or unsolicited messages, or collect data from communities without permission;
- publish content that is harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that promotes violence;
- upload malware, probe or overload the service, or get around plan limits, security or billing;
- resell or offer Sikia Cloud to others as your own hosted service.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Where reasonable, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Sikia running and your data safe, with regular backups, but we don’t promise uninterrupted service unless we’ve agreed to a service level in writing. We may improve or change features. If we remove a major feature you pay for, we’ll give notice and, if it matters to you, a pro-rata refund for the rest of your prepaid period.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Sikia and cancel any time. We may suspend or end your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or don’t pay. You can ask us to export or delete your data at any time by writing to support@sikia.dev; we’ll delete it within 30 days of your request, except records we must keep by law, such as invoices.
11. Disclaimers
Sikia is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim relating to Sikia is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits don’t apply to liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of content you put into Sikia or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we’ll email account owners at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Sikia after that means you accept the new terms; if you don’t, you can cancel.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts at Noida (Gautam Buddh Nagar), Uttar Pradesh, India, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
